Homemade Turkey Rice Recipe

Level up your regular rice with this simple and healthy Turkey Rice that you and your family would totally love!

Ingredients that you’ll need;

1 pound ground Turkey
1 small onion
1 cup of Cilantro
1 yellow bell pepper
4 small carrots
5 baby bella mushrooms
Cooked regular rice
Lime Zest
Bixa Paste or Anchiote (Optional)
Salt, Garlic Powder, Pepper, Cumin
Procedure:

1. Cook regular white rice as you normally do.

2. Add lime zest

3. Add 1 small onion, chopped

4. Add 1 yellow bell  pepper, chopped

5. Put 4 small carrots, sliced

6. 1 pound cooked ground turkey

7. You can add a bit of Bixa paste / Achiote. This is optional.

8. To Taste, Add salt, Garlic powder, pepper, and Cumin.

9. Then add 5 baby bella mushrooms, sliced

10. Put 1 cup of Cilantro

11. Lastly, Mix them up good.
