Let’s talk safety when blw!
It is important that you get a high chair in which the baby’s knees, torso, and legs are at a 90° angle. Baby’s feet also should rest on a flat surface. Stabilized feet promote a safe swallow. Think about making eating easier for your baby, he/she is just learning to eat and comfort makes all the difference.
When the baby is just starting solids, do not strap him/her so that you can get him/her out of the chair quickly in case of choking (start strapping when baby starts moving around more).
Do not feed your baby in the car seat or stroller. Because of their reclining position, IT IS NOT SAFE and it presents a huge choking hazard.
Do not feed your baby raw hard fruit or veggies like apples or carrots. Always cook them first!
