If you treated your friends the same way you treat your children, would they still like you?
Don’t think that because they are your children they are stuck with you for life. I know plenty of people who don’t talk to their parents. Be nice to your kids if you want them to like you. I’m not saying to let them do whatever they want, you’re still their parent, but just be nice and truly enjoy spending time with them.
The same goes for all relatives!
I think this advice applies to all parents, new or experienced ones. It’s good to be reminded that there are no perfect parents but we can always be the best version of ourselves to be a good parent to our kids. Hope this simple advice will help you.Parenting Advice
