What a weird Christmas this was. The baby is teething so I had a terrible night’s sleep on Christmas eve and woke up with a killer headache that even though got better, stayed for most of the day. We hosted lunch this year and even though it was incredibly exhausting we enjoy spending time with my hubby’s family. However, I had never been so bummed not to be with my family for Christmas. It is one of my favorite days of the year and my heart is broken.
I just want to get on a plane and be with my family and have them enjoy spending time with the baby. I can’t wait for this year to be over in hopes that the next one will be better.
Nonetheless, I thank God for sending his son so that I could be saved. It is still a great day in which I commemorate my king and savior. “Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his immense patience as an example for those who would believe in him and receive eternal life. Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.” – 1 Timothy 1:15-17
Merry Christmas everyone 🎅🏼🎄
